Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion

This Sunday we begin Holy Week, the week prior to Easter in which we intimately walk with Christ towards His Passion and Death and then His Glorious Resurrection.  Please look at the Mass schedule for our Triduum and Easter Mass times.

The Triduum is the three holiest days of Holy Week: Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil.  In many ways, this celebration is like one Mass spread out over three days.  On Holy Thursday, we celebrate the institution of the priesthood and the institution of the Eucharist.  On Good Friday, we walk with Jesus to the Cross and stand witness to His crucifixion.  On Holy Saturday, we walk in darkness in a world without Christ and exult is the gloriousness of his resurrection as we embrace the Light that is Christ in the world.

These three days are the holiest of our faith.  There are no other celebrations that are more solemn, more beautiful and more meaningful than those of the Triduum.  I invite you to spend time in prayer this week, and journey with us, the entire Catholic world in solidarity as we make our way to Calvary.
